Dunkin’ brings back ‘highly requested’ drink after 7 years. When can you get it?
A Dunkin’ fan favorite was missing from menus for seven years. Now it’s back with another “highly requested” drink.
Dunkin’s spring menu launched March 5 with the return of the pistachio coffee, according to the doughnut and coffee chain.
Last offered in 2018, the “long-lost favorite” joins the Dunkalatte in the limited-time lineup. Both drinks are available hot or iced.
“These two beverages have each built a cult following, from customers raving about the Dunkalatte’s one-of-a-kind creamy flavor, to years of petitions calling for Pistachio’s comeback,” Beth Turenne, vice president of Category Management at Dunkin’, said in a news release.
The pistachio coffee starts with Dunkin’s original blend coffee combined with a pistachio flavor swirl for a “nutty, subtly sweet” essence, a product description reads.
Coffee lovers looking for a creamier option can try the Dunkalatte, the brand’s first-ever beverage made with coffee milk. It first hit menus in Fall 2024 and “became an instant sellout,” according to Dunkin’.
“The secret ingredient of this ultra-smooth beverage is coffee milk, made by blending whole milk with Dunkin’s very own coffee extract,” the restaurant said.
The pistachio coffee and Dunkalatte are available for a limited time, though Dunkin’ didn’t say for how long.
The restaurant’s spring lineup includes new and returning favorites. They are:
- Ham and Swiss pretzel sliders made with King’s Hawaiian pretzel slider buns
- Sweet black pepper bacon
- Chicken and bacon croissant stuffer
- Brown sugar shakin espresso
- Raspberry watermelon Dunkin’ refresher
