Dairy Queen debuts new dipped cone, but it won’t stick around. When can you get it?
Dairy Queen is launching a new dipped cone in time for spring.
Customers can sink their teeth into the new Crunchin’ Cookie dipped cone, available at participating Dairy Queen restaurants nationwide, the burger chain said Feb. 25.
The cookies and cream-inspired dessert is made with Dairy Queen soft serve “dipped in a blue cone coating with choco cookie pieces in the cone coating,” a product description says.
Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
The dessert — then dubbed the Cookie Monster Dipped Cone for its resemblance to the beloved “Sesame Street” character — was tested at select Dairy Queen locations last year with rumblings of a nationwide rollout, EatThisNotThat.com reported, citing food blogger Snackolator.
“We are always innovating our menu to bring new and delicious products and flavors across our treat and food offerings, and as part of that, we sometimes test flavors in select store locations,” a Dairy Queen spokesperson told the outlet at the time.
A variety of dip flavors have appeared on the menu in recent years, including:
- Chocolate
- Cherry
- Fruity Blast
- Butterscotch
The Crunchin Cookie dipped cone is a available for a limited time, though Dairy Queen didn’t say for how long.
