Burlington & HomeGoods plan to open stores in these Triangle towns. Here’s when
Burlington and HomeGoods are adding new stores in the Raleigh area soon.
Both will open locations at Knightdale Marketplace in Knightdale this fall.
Where and when will the new Burlington open?
Burlington (formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory) will be at 220 Hinton Oaks Blvd. in Knightdale Marketplace West. A specific opening date will be announced later, but the store is projected to open fall 2024.
The Knightdale store will feature the company’s “reimagined store layout and new store logo,” according to a press release announcing the location.
Shoppers will find women’s apparel and accessories, men’s and kid’s clothing, shoes, home decor, pet care and toys, and products for babies.
With the Knightdale store, Burlington will have 33 locations in North Carolina.
Where/when will the new HomeGoods open?
HomeGoods will be in Knightdale Marketplace East. Other retailers housed in the shopping center include Target, The Home Depot, Michaels and PetSmart.
The store is expected to open this fall, a marketing supervisor for HomeGoods told The News & Observer in an email.
Other Burlington stores coming to North Carolina
The company opened a Charlotte location earlier in August and plans to open another in the city this month.
In addition to the Knightdale store, Burlington is expanding to Henderson and Selma this fall. According to the company website, Burlington will open in the Henderson Pointe and Eastfield shopping centers.
Other HomeGoods planned for North Carolina
The home decor store is opening a new location in Gastonia on Aug. 29, according to the company’s website.
