Popular sub sandwich shop opening soon in this Raleigh shopping center + other NC spots
Jersey Mike’s Subs is expanding in the Triangle, with restaurants opening as early as this week.
The sandwich chain headquartered in New Jersey is opening a new shop at Ridgewood Shopping Center in Raleigh on Wednesday. The location at 3510-B Wade Ave. is from franchise owners John Enterline and Sean Hill and will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
But the Wade Avenue location isn’t the only Jersey Mike’s planned for Raleigh or the Triangle, according to the company’s website.
Jersey Mike’s Subs plans multiple Raleigh-area stores
Besides the Ridgewood location, here’s where Jersey Mike’s is expanding:
- Garner: NC Hwy 50 & Hwy 42
- Wake County: 5100 Forestville Road
- Raleigh: 6220 Battle Bridge Road
- Rolesville: South Main Street & Jonesville Road
- Wendell: 2839 Wendell Blvd.
Opening dates for these forthcoming locations have not yet been announced.
Jersey Mike’s has more than 200 restaurants in North Carolina.
Other new dining tenants at Ridgewood Shopping Center
Jersey Mike’s is the latest tenant to join the Whole Foods-anchored shopping center at the intersection of Wade Avenue and Ridge Road, near Meredith College.
- In June, the cafe Drift — which was founded on North Carolina’s coast — opened at Ridgewood, The News & Observer previously reported.
- Taco Bamba, a Washington, D.C.-area taco shop from chef Victor Albisu, opened about a year ago. It was the first Raleigh location for the taqueria, which was also expanding into Richmond and Nashville, and the first free-standing restaurant for the brand.

- Insomnia Cookies is coming to downtown Raleigh’s Fayetteville Street. PrimoHoagies will open next door.
- Ruckus Pizza, Pasta and Spirits is planning two new Raleigh locations, including at Leesville Towne Centre.
- Bojangles is opening near Garner sometime next year.
- Union Station Deli & Catering will soon be serving bagels, sandwiches, coffee and other items at Raleigh Union Station.
- TOUS les JOURS, a French-Asian bakery, and Boatman Spirits Co. plan to open at Seaboard Station in 2025.
- COPA, an upscale Cuban restaurant in Durham, closed.
- Postino WineCafe is open at Village District.
