Another Nordstrom Rack is coming to the Raleigh area. Here’s where & when it will open
Another Nordstrom Rack is coming to the Raleigh area, the retailer announced.
This will be the store’s third Triangle location. One Nordstrom Rack is already open in Durham’s Renaissance Center, and a second is expected to open at Raleigh’s Triangle Town Place this fall, The News & Observer previously reported. The company’s website lists an October opening date.
“We’re excited to grow our footprint in the Raleigh market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience,” Gemma Lionello, the president of Nordstrom Rack, said in a news release.
Here’s what we know about the newest Triangle location.
Nordstrom Rack location & opening
The retailer is expanding to Morrisville’s Park West Village, a development already home to stores including Trader Joe’s, Target and other stores. Park West Village is owned and managed by CASTO.
Nordstrom Rack is expected to open in a 25,000-square-foot space in spring 2025, according to the release.
“This exciting addition aligns with our vision of Park West Village as a premier lifestyle hub where visitors can shop, stroll and experience it all,” Shannon Dixon, the executive vice president at CASTO Southeast Realty Services, said in the news release.
Customers will be able to pick up online orders from Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack and make returns at this location.
Nordstrom Rack’s North Carolina footprint
In addition to its Durham store, Nordstrom Rack has a location in Charlotte. The Raleigh store, along with one in Mooresville, are expected to open this fall.
Locations in Matthews and Morrisville will debut in spring 2025.
The two existing Nordstrom Rack stores, plus the two Nordstrom locations in Charlotte and Durham, provide more than 650 jobs across North Carolina.
At Nordstrom Rack, shoppers can find apparel, accessories, beauty items, home decor and shoes from many of the brands available at Nordstrom, but at prices up to 70% off.
Retail changes at Morrisville’s Park West Village
A Triangle mom is opening a new salon for kids, Pigtails & Crewcuts, at the shopping center later this year, The N&O previously reported.
Several stores have opened at the shopping center since March 2023:
