Taco Bell to launch chicken nuggets nationwide. Here’s when you can get them
Taco Bell’s newest menu “innovation” is made for dipping.
Customers can soon get their first bites of the crispy chicken nuggets, available Dec. 19 at participating Taco Bell restaurants nationwide, according to the California-based fast food chain.
They’ll appear alongside a lineup of new dipping sauces:
- Hidden Valley Fire Ranch: a blend of Taco Bell’s Fire Sauce and Hidden Valley Ranch.
- Bell Sauce: A tangy blend with “subtle chili notes” featuring tomatoes, red chiles and garlic.
- Jalapeño Honey Mustard: a sweet and spicy blend of honey mustard and jalapeno.
The nationwide rollout follows successful tests in Minneapolis in 2023 and Houston, Texas, in early 2024, Taco Bell said in a news release.
The chain operates about 8,000 restaurants nationwide, according to its website, and prides itself on putting “unexpected” twists on menu classics.
Its version of the popular finger food is marinated in zesty jalapeño buttermilk flavor and coated in a tortilla chip breading for “a crispier, more flavorful nugget experience,” a product description says.
“Combined with the Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce, we hope it will test people’s devotion to their favorite nuggets,” Taylor Montgomery, chief marketing officer for Taco Bell, said in the release.
For $3.99, customers can get a 5-count nugget serving and one dipping sauce, or a 10-count and two dipping sauces for $6.99, while supplies last.
The crispy nuggets are also available as a combo that comes with a side of nacho fries, cheese sauce for dipping and a large fountain drink, Taco Bell said.
It’s just the latest offering to join menus in recent months. In October, the fast food chain brought back a few retired favorites — including the beloved caramel apple empanada — as part of its Decades Menu.

- ‘60s - Tostada
- ‘70s - Green sauce burrito
- ‘80s - Meximelt
- ‘90s - Gordita supreme
