Wendy’s adds new Frosty flavor, but it won’t stick around. Here’s what to know
Fans of Wendy’s Frosty treats can now dip their spoons — or fries — in a new flavor.
The salted caramel Frosty arrives Tuesday, Nov. 12, at participating Wendy’s restaurants nationwide, according to the Ohio-based burger chain.
The sweet treat, flavored with “rich, salty caramel,” is part of the brand’s fall menu featuring a new mushroom bacon cheeseburger and a revamped version of Wendy’s taco salad, per a restaurant news release.
The mushroom bacon cheeseburger is topped with roasted mushrooms, bacon, Muenster cheese and a garlic spread, according to a product description.
Fans of Wendy’s original taco salad can try the new zesty salsa dressing that comes with it, along with toppings including tortilla strips, fire-roasted corn and chili.
All three items are available for a limited time, though Wendy’s didn’t say for how long.
Salted caramel is the restaurant’s latest seasonal Frosty and joins the classic chocolate Frosty, replacing the vanilla Frosty on menus.
In October, Wendy’s rolled out a limited-edition Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty as part of the SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired “Krabby Patty Kollab” meal.
Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
