Women sought in ‘Bojangles bandit’ robbery turn themselves in
The two women wanted in connection with a robbery outside a Durham Bojangles turned themselves in Thursday.
Investigators had obtained arrest warrants for Tiffany Springfield, 32, and Jamie Monique Belcher, 24, charging them each with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, police reported.
The incident occurred at the Bojangles’ at 2801 Guess Road. Durham police responded after a man was hit in the head with a blunt object. Witnesses told police the robber had a weapon and demanded cash.
Belcher and Springfield turned themselves in. Bail for both women was set at $300,000 apiece.
