On Feb. 18, the Carolina Hurricanes will host an NHL outdoor hockey game for the first time at N.C. State’s Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh. Whether you’re a hockey fan or not, don’t miss out on the festivities surrounding the Carolina Hurricanes outdoor game.

The Fan Fest event celebrating 25 years of pro hockey in Raleigh presents a full day of free music on Fayetteville Street downtown.
Here’s a list of music and other events on the schedule.
The event opens at 11 a.m., and Gov. Roy Cooper will sound the sirens at 11:45 a.m.
Capitol Stage
11 a.m. — Opening Ceremony
11:45 a.m. — Sounding of the Siren with Gov. Roy Cooper
12:15 p.m. — Ashley La Rue Band
1:45 p.m. — Jason Adamo
3:15 p.m. — Mega Colossus

6:15 p.m. — Rosali
7:45 p.m. — Superchunk
City Plaza Stage

Food trucks
More than 30 Triangle food trucks will be downtown, including Belgian Waffle Crafters, Hollywood Taco Shop, Hotbox Pizza, Oink N Moo, Safari Eatz, Southern Fried Lumpia Co. and the Cheese Curd Shack & Brats.
Vendors
More than 50 vendors will be on site, including Drive Shack, Ella’s Popcorn, House of Swank, PBS North Carolina, Polar Ice NC and Roaring Riot.
