A popular brunch restaurant in Chapel Hill is reopening soon.
Snooze, located in the Eastgate Crossing shopping center, was one of many businesses damaged by the remnants of Tropical Storm Chantal over the summer.
Known for its pancakes, the restaurant is the latest in the shopping center to reopen after months of repairs. The Loop and Kipos Greek Taverna both reopened in recent weeks.
“We’re proud to reopen in Chapel Hill,” Snooze CEO Josh Kern said in a news release. “In a community known for its spirit and high standards, we’ve taken this time to refine what we do best: bold brunch, thoughtful hospitality and food that truly earns its place.”
When customers are able to return to Snooze, they’ll find “a refreshed vibe” and a few new menu items.
When will Snooze reopen?
Snooze will reopen Sunday, March 1 at 1800 E. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill. The restaurant has a 4,567-square-foot dining area, with enough seats for 135 inside, plus an outdoor patio with seating for 64.
Its hours will be 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. weekdays and 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekends.
On March 1, the first 50 customers will get a limited-edition Snooze tote and tumbler with purchase of an entree, and a Snooze gift card.
Chapel Hill’s Snooze is the chain’s only Triangle location.
