A new taco restaurant just opened near Raleigh’s Dix Park.

Offering tacos, burritos, bowls and house specials, Campo Taco Co. is serving lunch and dinner at Rockway.

Campo was the third tenant announced for the mixed-use development, which also houses Benchwarmers Bagels and BK Pilates.

It opened in a corner space on the ground floor of the Row building, complete with a patio.

Campo Taco Co. menu

Campo has an extensive list of street tacos, served on flour or corn tortillas with onion, cilantro and lime, and available a la carte or three to an order with a side of rice and beans. Guac is extra ($1).

Among the street taco fillings are birria; grilled steak and shrimp; steak; steak and chorizo; chicken; beef or lamb barbacoa; pork belly; chorizo, nopales (cactus) and potatoes; tofu; and cod. Orders of three start at $12.

Fajitas ($12-$16) come on a sizzling platter with grilled onions and peppers, served with tortillas and fixings.

Campo also has a build-your-own bowl option (starting at $10.50), with a customer’s choice of rice, beans and protein, plus lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and roasted corn.

For drinks, customers can sip on margaritas, available in classic varieties and flavored with blood orange, passion fruit and berries. Margaritas are available in 12-ounce and 20-ounce servings, or by the half-pitcher, and prices vary.

Cocktails including mojitos and a Mezcal Paloma are also served, along with Mexican and domestic beers and wine.

Campo is open for lunch and dinner at 1001 S. Saunders St. in Raleigh.
