Professional experience: Retired New York Police Department detective with 20 Years of service. Ten years teaching in the New York City Public School System. Thirteen Years with the N.C. Dept of Adult Correction. Chairman of several community based organizations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

What would be your top priority if elected?
Supporting working families.
How would you describe the state of the economy and what would you do to improve it?
The economy is in need of a boost. To improve it I would support working families by enacting legislation and providing funding to promote economic prosperity.
What should Congress do to ensure that it meets its deadline to fund the government?
Congress needs to work together across party lines and ensure that they work together to serve the interest of all people.
