Ensure access to free testing and vaccination, support research and development for treatment and prevention, and provide affordable, accessible health care.
What is the federal government’s role in combating the effects of climate change?
Among the many actions that need to be taken are: subsidizing transition to renewable energy; increasing domestic production of renewable industry products; revising the Stafford Act and Federal Flood Insurance Program; and addressing impacts to health, communities and the labor force.
What is your plan for reducing violent crime?
We must invest in communities by supporting community organizations that tackle issues, such as poverty, mental health and drug addiction, food insecurity, affordable housing and workforce development, so that there are opportunities and assistance where needed.
