Two Arby’s offerings not seen together since 2018 are making their way back to menus.

The Bourbon BBQ brisket sandwich and Bourbon BBQ chicken sandwich returned Monday, Aug. 12, to participating Arby’s restaurants nationwide, according to the Georgia-based fast food chain.

It’s been six years since the sandwiches, made with smoky bourbon flavors and sweet brown sugar bacon, last appeared on menus at the same time, an Arby’s spokesperson told McClatchy News.

The brisket version was last offered in 2019 before it disappeared — until now.

For $8.29, customers can get the sandwich featuring slices of smoked beef brisket, according to a news release. It’s then topped with brown sugar bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy onions and bourbon barbecue sauce and served on a brioche bun.

The bourbon BBQ chicken sandwich features a fried chicken filet topped with brown sugar bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy onions and bourbon barbecue sauce, a product description said. That one starts at $7.49.

Both sandwiches are available for a limited time, though Arby’s didn’t say for how long.

They’re the latest blast from the past to rejoin the menu. In July, Arby’s announced the return of its beloved potato cakes after a three-year hiatus, McClatchy News reported.
