A New York-based grocery company with locations throughout North Carolina announced a new shopping experience for customers.

Wegmans has partnered with DoorDash to allow shoppers in Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Delaware, New York and Maryland to have groceries delivered from local stores.

The grocer and commerce platform have previously partnered to allow delivery through Wegmans’ Meals 2GO program, which allows customers to have fresh, ready-made meals delivered.

“Our goal is to make meals easy and help our customers live healthier, better lives through exceptional food,” Erica Tickle, Wegmans vice president of marketing and digital growth, said in a news release. “Expanding our delivery network is just one way we’re able to continue delivering on that mission.”

Wegmans has four Triangle stores in Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Wake Forest and Morrisville. Additional North Carolina locations are planned for Charlotte and Holly Springs. Be sure to enter your address on DoorDash to make sure that delivery from Wegmans is available for you.

Grocery delivery from Wegmans is also available through Instacart.

Discounts available for Wegmans delivery through DoorDash

DoorDash is offering a discount to customers who order Wegmans delivery this month.

Throughout Oct. 31, DoorDash will offer 40% of all eligible orders of $50 or more (up to $25) with promo code WEGMANS.

The discount is limited to one per person and does not apply to fees, taxes and tips, or pickup orders. It is not valid for the purchase of alcohol.

Place orders through DoorDash’s website or app.
