A popular jewelry brand known for colorful gemstones and customization is expanding in the Triangle.

Texas-based Kendra Scott plans to join Fenton in Cary, with a projected opening date in fall 2024, Becky Marks, a marketing and events manager with Hines Management told The News & Observer in an email. (Hines manages the Cary development.)

Kendra Scott currently operates two other stores in the Triangle, at North Hills in Raleigh and Durham’s The Streets at Southpoint. These will remain open, so the Fenton store will be the third in the area, a customer care specialist with Kendra Scott told The N&O in an email.

The jewelry company also has North Carolina stores in Charlotte, Greensboro and Huntersville.

At Fenton, Kendra Scott will join jewelry retailer Bailey’s Fine Jewelry.

Founded by Kendra Scott in 2002, the jeweler sells necklaces, bracelets, earrings, engagement rings, fragrance, home accessories and men’s jewelry. The company is based in Austin and employs more than 2,600 individuals.
