Canada-based clothing brand opening store at Durham’s Streets at Southpoint
A clothing store founded in Canada is expanding soon to a Durham mall.
Garage, which began in Montreal in 1975, expects to open at The Streets at Southpoint on Aug. 2, the retailer’s press team told The News & Observer in an email. The company is a sister brand to Dynamite and sells clothing and accessories for women.
This will be Garage’s only store in the Triangle, the retailer’s online store locator shows, though Garage previously had a location at Raleigh’s Crabtree mall.
In May, Garage opened its 100th store in the United States, in Glendale, Arizona.
What else is opening at The Streets at Southpoint?
- Abercrombie & Fitch is opening this summer at the Durham shopping center, The N&O previously reported. The store will be located next to J. Crew on the first level. It’s the second Abercrombie & Fitch location in the Triangle.
- Children’s clothing store Janie and Jack plans to open in late August, we previously reported. This will be the second Triangle location, with another at Crabtree mall in Raleigh.
