Raleigh Iron Works is filling with tenants. These shops & restaurants are open now
It has been about a year since Raleigh Iron Works opened, and several tenants have joined the development’s directory.
But the mixed-use area near East Whitaker Mill Road and Atlantic Avenue is just one of three sections of the district, which is made of industrial structures renovated into restaurant, retail and office space. Dock 1053, anchored by Lynnwood Brewing, opened in 2017 and is right across Atlantic from Raleigh Iron Works. The 100,000-square-feet of space that comprise Salvage Yard will house Triangle Rock Club and NOCO Beverage, among other tenants.
Raleigh Iron Works — which opened summer 2023 in the former Peden Steel warehouse — still has space available.
About 20,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space at Raleigh Iron Works remains for lease, but real estate investment and management firm Jamestown LP is “actively negotiating on the majority” of that, Lexi Ritter of Jamestown LP told The News & Observer in an email.
We’ve compiled a list of the businesses at Raleigh Iron Works, Dock 1053 and Salvage Yard.
