Once hailed as a best new restaurant in the country, a Raleigh hot spot opens in Cary
Eight years after bursting on the scene, one of Raleigh’s most unique restaurant concepts is finally ready to unveil its Cary expansion.
Once hailed as a best new restaurant in the country and one of the most beautiful places on earth to grab a meal, Brewery Bhavana has set an opening date for its new Cary location.
Brewery Bhavana will open in the upscale Fenton development on April 18, serving its same dim sum menu and lineup of Belgian-inspired beers.
“We’re thrilled to bring the spirit of Bhavana to Cary,” said Patrick Woodson, co-founder and sole owner of Brewery Bhavana. “This new location lets us celebrate everything people love about our original space, while embracing a fresh, garden-inspired vision that’s unique to Fenton.”
When Brewery Bhavana first opened in 2017, it defied traditional restaurant expectations. It was simultaneously a dim sum restaurant, a brewery taproom, a bookstore and a flower shop. That year the restaurant was named one of Bon Appetit’s best new restaurants in America.
In Cary, Bhavana joins a buzzy roster of restaurants, including Crawford Brothers Steakhouse, M Sushi and M Test Kitchen, Superica and Colletta.
While the original Bhavana is a tucked-away world, the new Fenton location embraces the outdoors. You’ll find giant windows all the way to the floor and the brand’s first outdoor patio. The 2,000-square-foot space has around 50 seats inside and another couple dozen outside.
Beyond the dim sum, Bhavana will also bring its popular Peking duck service, soup dumplings, egg rolls and a version of General Tso’s chicken.
The Cary Bhavana will be open for lunch and dinner daily.
The restaurant is located at 850 Lower Garden Lane.
