Will Carolina Panthers try to acquire Bradley Chubb? It might make sense
It’s in the middle of February, arguably the quietest time on the NFL calendar, and you might be asking:
What in the world is there to talk about when it comes to Carolina Panthers football?
The short of it: There’s a lot.
At least, Mike Kaye and Alex Zietlow have a lot to say in the latest episode of Processing Blue, the all-things-Panthers podcast presented by The Charlotte Observer.
The two open the discussion about long snapper JJ Jansen returning to the Panthers for a franchise-record 18th consecutive year.
They then talk about the intriguing possibility of the Panthers adding veteran EDGE rusher Bradley Chubb — who’s being released by the Miami Dolphins — in free agency.
Kaye and Zietlow then go deep on their burning questions they have ahead of next week’s NFL Scouting Combine:
- Will the Panthers hone in on finding their next great inside linebacker?
- What will the Panthers do now with veteran offensive assistant (and experienced play-caller) Darrell Bevell on staff?
- Can general manager Dan Morgan enhance this roster on the margins — in Day 3 of the draft, specifically — again?
