Wong’s single leads Durham to 6-1 win over Charlotte
Kean Wong hit a run-scoring single in the second inning, leading the Durham Bulls to a 6-1 win over the Charlotte Knights on Monday.
Mike Marjama scored on the play to give the Bulls a 1-0 lead after he reached base with a double.
With the score tied 1-1 in the seventh, the Bulls took the lead for good when Johnny Field hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Casey Gillaspie.
Starter Blake Snell (3-0) got the win while Brian Clark (1-1) took the loss in relief in the International League game.
Durham improved to 6-2 against Charlotte this season.
