The Carolina Hurricanes, led by a short-handed goal from Brendan Smith, and an empty-netter late in the game from Sebastian Aho, took a two-game lead over the N.Y. Rangers with a win in Raleigh, Friday night, May 20, 2021.

The Hurricanes now travel to Madison Square Garden for a Sunday battle, hoping to break their away game drought for playoff wins.
