Talking Preps OT: Chambers AD Montis Lash on winning state, social media and his ‘petty’

Chambers High athletic director Montis Lash holds two masters degrees and earned one from the University of California at Berkeley. He also loves coaching, but gave it up to become athletic director.

His biggest goal? To make sure as many athletes as possible go to college, hopefully on scholarship.

Lash also loves social media, and is using his education and experience to build one of North Carolina’s most potent high school football social media brands.

Lash is on Talking Preps OT and talks about his background, his drive and his “petty” -- the chip on his shoulder about building a school with little financial support into a statewide success, and how that has helped him shape that dynamic brand that makes Chambers a household name in high school circles as well as a target for most opponents.
