Friday’s high school football playoff scores in North Carolina, next week’s schedule
The first round of the N.C. High School playoffs for public and private schools began Friday.
For public schools there are only four champions being crowned over a six-week playoff. In recent years, subdividing the state’s four classes led to eight state champs in a five-week playoff.
