The University of North Carolina basketball team departed Chapel Hill, Wednesday afternoon, March 30, 2022, on the way to the Final Four in New Orleans and a game against rival Duke.

A crowd of fans cheered the Tar Heel players and coaches as they walked to the buses at the Smith Center on campus. Rough weather between North Carolina and New Orleans could present some obstacles before they arrive in New Orleans.
