Alim McNeill, 4-star NCSU football target, will announce his decision Saturday

Alim McNeill, a 4-star defensive tackle from Sanderson High, will announce his college plans Saturday at 10 a.m., he tweeted Wednesday night.

McNeill, who’s 6-2, 172 pounds, is the No. 20 defensive tackle in the Class of 2018, and is No. 2 at his position in the state of North Carolina, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s narrowed his decision to three schools: N.C. State, Virginia Tech and Michigan.

This season, McNeill, who also plays baseball for the Spartans, has posted 43 tackles, including 15 tackles for loss and five sacks.

McNeill, who’s making his announcement on WRAL, has offers from Clemson, Duke, N.C. State, UNC, Florida State, Michigan, Louisville, Florida, Penn State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Tennessee.
