Charlotte Hornets’ NBA Summer League schedule is out. When to watch new players
The Charlotte Hornets have their schedule for the 2025 NBA Summer League.
Charlotte’s new draftees — Kon Knueppel, Liam McNeeley, Sion James and Ryan Kalkbrenner — are going to be in action this summer in Las Vegas.
Each team will play at least five games this summer, with the first four coming from July 10-17. The top four teams will then advance to participate in the playoffs, beginning with a semifinal doubleheader July 19, and the two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game July 20.
The four playoff teams and their seeding will be determined by win percentage in each team’s first four games, and the 26 teams that do not advance to the four-team playoff will play their fifth game on July 18, 19 or 20.
“My expectation for these guys is to come in and have an open mind, try to learn as much as possible the first couple days,” Hornets head coach Charles Lee said. “Get themselves acclimated to offensive and defensive terminology. Getting them in the habit of routines and working with our performance staff and our coaching staff. The expectation’s to just go out there, be yourself, compete at a high level — which is what the expectation of a Hornet is every day.
“Being obsessed with just trying to get better. It’s not to go out there and score 30 points or 40 points, I want to see you dive on the floor. I’m going to see you go vertical. I want to see you make the extra pass when the defense has shifted. And hopefully that’s going to help our team have more wins in the win column. But that has got to be the focus, just trying to play team basketball.”

The following four matchups have been announced by the NBA. The Hornets will play at least one more game on July 18, 19 or 20.
