Supercomputer Predicts Winner Of Every World Cup Knockout Round Game
The 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup knockout round is here.
The United States men's national team has reached the knockout stage. The American men won their group and will take on Bosnia in the Round of 32 on Wednesday night. The U.S. have won their group for the first time since 2010, when the World Cup was held in South Africa.
France, meanwhile, appears to be the favorite to win it all. But other countries, like England, Argentina, Spain, Germany, Brazil, etc. could be fierce contenders, as well.
Ultimately, who will win it all?
A supercomputer has predicted the winner of every Round of 32 knockout stage game:

Who will win it all?
The supercomputer is going with France to win it all, giving the French team, led by Kylian Mbappe, a close to 20 percent chance of winning it all.
"Leading the way is France with a chance of 18.66%, putting Les Bleus marginally ahead of Argentina's 16.26%. There's a small jump down to third, where Spain sits with odds of 13.47%, while England sits on an island of its own at 9.68%. Brazil (6.47%) and the Netherlands (5.11%) are seen as outside hopefuls at this stage in the competition," Sports Illustrated wrote.
The first knockout round game is set for Sunday afternoon, with Canada taking on South Africa.
