Final Injury Report for Mercury-Fire: Will Alyssa Thomas, Kahleah Copper Play?
The Phoenix Mercury are on the road Friday night as they travel to take on the Portland Fire in a Western Conference matchup as part of the WNBA Commissioner's Cup.
Phoenix enters Friday's game with a 3-8 record after defeating the Seattle Storm on the road Wednesday night to snap their seven-game losing streak.
In Wednesday's victory over the Storm, Natasha Mack led the way for the Mercury as she recorded 16 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks while Kahleah Copper added 16 points and six rebounds of her own.
The Mercury will try to grab another victory Friday as they face off against the Fire in a tough road matchup.
Portland enters Friday's contest with a 6-5 record after losing on the road to the Golden State Valkyries Tuesday night.
Megan Gustafson led the way for the Fire in Tuesday's loss as she ended the game with 13 points and eight rebounds while Emily Engstler recorded 12 points and eight rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night's matchup, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

The Mercury have three players listed on their injury report, including both Alyssa Thomas and Copper.
Phoenix has listed Thomas as questionable due to a left calf injury and she is in danger of missing her first game of the season.

The Mercury have listed Copper as doubtful due to a left hip injury and she is expected to miss her first game of the season.
Sami Whitcomb has been ruled out as she remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from left knee surgery.
Fire Injury Report
The Fire enter Friday's matchup with a healthy roster as they have nobody listed on their injury report.
This is great news for Portland as the team tries to bounce back after Tuesday's loss as they look to grab their seventh victory of the season.
