Editor will be missed

The readers of The Herald-Sun will indeed miss editor Bob Ashley's attention to detail about the health, welfare, entertainment, history, academia and all the other factors of life in the community.

Having known and worked with Bob at The Charlotte Observer, I am fully aware of the nature of his conscientiousness about informing his readers of any and all important and even some not so important activities in their community.

He will be missed.
