No tax dollars for Planned Parenthood

The U.S. Senate should join the House of Representatives in striking down the 11th-hour attempt by the Obama administration to fund Planned Parenthood.

In December of last year the Department of Health and Human Services issued an order that prohibited the states from denying funds to Planned Parenthood. There are other agencies such as community health clinics that can provide this important service. Tax dollars should not be used to fund Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider.

Sen. Richard Burr and Sen. Thom Tillis should support SJ Res. 13. It will allow the states to withhold money from this organization.
