Temperatures in Raleigh, Durham
On Monday, Feb. 2, temperatures are expected to rise to above freezing, before falling back into the teens and 20s overnight.
Through Friday, Feb. 6, high temperatures are expected to be in the upper 30s and 40s, with different sources offering slightly different forecasts.
On Friday, the National Weather Service expected the temperatures to soar near 50 in Raleigh and Durham. ABC11 and CBS 17 have the high temperature that day around 45.
Nights will remain cold this week, with temperatures in the 20s, according to the National Weather Service.
Warm up possible next week
But early next week, it could get even warmer.
The National Weather Service does not give detailed forecasts for more than a week in advance, but CBS 17 and ABC11 offer 10-day forecasts.
Next Tuesday, Feb. 10 and Wednesday, Feb. 11, the high temperatures will be around 57, according to ABC11. CBS 17 has the high temperature next Tuesday at 53 and next Wednesday at 58. AccuWeather’s forecast calls for high temperatures of 52 on Tuesday and 59 on Wednesday in Raleigh.
In the Raleigh area, the average high temperature in February is 55.8, and the average low temperature is 34.2, according to National Weather Service data.
