With gas prices on the rise again, it’s important to take note of where the cheapest gas prices are in the area as well as which gas stations currently have the highest prices per gallon.
On Tuesday, South Carolina was reported to have an overall average cost of $4.29 per gallon for regular gas, according to AAA. The average price for premium gas in the Palmetto State was $4.96 with diesel at $5.45. This is an increase compared to last week’s average price per regular gallon which was $4.22. The average price for the same gas last month was $3.78, and at this time last year was only $2.85.
The highest recorded average price for both regular and diesel gas in South Carolina was documented on May 19 of this year with regular gas averaging $4.310 per gallon and diesel averaging $5.477.

Bluffton
