11 NC companies make Forbes ‘most trusted’ list. One’s in the top 10

Forbes included 11 North Carolina businesses on its list of Most Trusted Companies in America, with one cracking the top 10.

Forbes evaluated more than 2,000 U.S.-based organizations with at least 7,000 employees, using dozens of metrics that examined factors such as employee sentiment, customer satisfaction, financial stability, cybersecurity, sustainability and public perception.

Bank of America, headquartered in Charlotte, landed at No. 8 on the list, which measures trust among customers, employees and investors.

The ranking comes just weeks after Bank of America came in at No. 16 on Forbes’ list of dream employers, and at No. 17 on their list of best companies, The Charlotte Observer reported. The company was also recognized by Forbes as the 45th best tech company for tech workers earlier this year.

Most trusted companies in NC

Four other companies based in the Tar Heel State made the top 100 on Forbes’ list of best companies: Investor’s Management, Duke Energy, SAS Institute and Nucor.

• No. 232: Collins Aerospace, Cedar Rapids
• No. 265: Labcorp Holdings, Burlington
• No. 297: Atrium Health, Charlotte
