These 3 North Carolina restaurants are ranked among the best in the country
Three North Carolina restaurants are dishing out some of the best dining experiences in the country, new rankings show.
Raleigh favorites Brewery Bhavana and Crawford and Son ranked among the top 100 places to eat in the United States, the restaurant reservation service OpenTable said Tuesday in a news release.
Also earning a spot on the list is The Restaurant at Gideon Ridge, an eatery in the mountain town of Blowing Rock.
OpenTable says it compiled its 2019 list after analyzing reviews of more than 30,000 eateries nationwide.
“What ultimately ties these restaurants together is their excellent hospitality paired with incredible dishes, which is why diners are applauding them with rave reviews,” Andrea Johnston, chief operating officer of OpenTable, said in the news release.
This year, OpenTable says restaurants on its list serve flavors from all around the world, including the Mediterranean and Latin America.
Joining that group of hot dining spots is Brewery Bhavana, which serves small Chinese dishes called dim sum. It’s also known for its beer, flowers — and even a bookstore.
Crawford and Son, owned by acclaimed chef Scott Crawford, is under the American dining category, while Gideon Ridge has American, European, vegan and vegetarian offerings, OpenTable says.
California boasts the most top restaurants, with 22, according to the list.
