French inflation rises 2.0% in June
Consumer prices in France rose 2.0% year-on-year in June on an EU-harmonised basis, statistics office INSEE said on Friday, confirming a preliminary reading published earlier this month.
The harmonised inflation rate in the bloc's second-biggest economy - adjusted for comparison with other euro zone countries - slowed in June, compared with the May reading of 2.8%.
