German inflation confirmed at 2.4% y/y in June

BERLIN - German inflation eased to 2.4% in June, the federal statistics office said on Friday, confirming preliminary data.

Inflation, or the gain in consumer prices harmonised to compare with other European Union countries, had stood at 2.7% year-on-year in May.
