A mother duck and her babies waddled down an elementary school hall for the second year in a row, a Virginia school shared on Twitter.

Ashburn Elementary School shared a video of the duck and her ducklings pattering across the tile floor of the school as children guided them down the hall.

“Today (our) staff and their children were able to help this momma duck and her ducklings safely exit our courtyard (and) make their way to the pond up the road,” the school said in the caption.

It’s not the first time this has happened, the school told media outlets.

Last year, a mother duck laid eggs in the same courtyard and the school helped the family through the school out to a nearby pond, WTOP reported.

This year the duck’s guided tour out of the school to the pond took nearly an hour and although no one knows for sure, some staff members told WTOP they believe that it’s the same mama duck as last year.

Ashburn is about 45 miles northwest of Washington, D.C.
