A home that just popped up on the real estate market in sunny California is definitely not for the squeamish.

The breathtaking estate is perched right on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Pacific blue in Laguna Beach and it can be yours if you have $10.995 million, a strong stomach and a love for heights.

Exquisite in contemporary architectural style, detail and function, this four-bedroom, six-bath, 3417-square-foot, three-level estate soaks in sweeping ocean and coastline views from frameless glass walls on every level,” the listing on Zillow.com describes.

“The result from a decade of thoughtful design and meticulous construction by a renowned local architect and builder, 31885 Circle Drive blends modern interiors with inviting natural finishes and ambiance-enhancing natural light.”

Features in and around the home include:

  • Three terraces

  • Four fireplaces

  • Theater

  • Elevator

  • Smart security system

While the residence certainly is jaw-dropping with its views and breezy decor, fans of the popular Twitter segment Friday Night Zillow were a tad skittish about the house’s location.

How confident are we in the structural integrity of a California cliff? $10.995M worth of confidence?” the segment’s creator, Steven Dennis, asked in a tweet featuring the home’s photos.

The insurance there must be an awesome amount,” one person said.

Is that Iron Man’s house?” another asked.

We stayed in an ocean front suite in Pismo Beach with a glass balcony like this: I enjoyed our stay, but never felt 100% secure,” someone said.

Can you insure that?” one person asked.

Absolutely breathtaking. I would not buy it, but I surely would lease it for a romantic vacation,” another noted.

Are we looking at an architecturally hazardous cliff or a morally hazardous insurance market?” someone asked.

Some people like to live on the edge,” one person joked.
