Can you spot the bighorn sheep in this video? Snowy Colorado terrain keeps them hidden

Bighorn sheep are seen dashing in the snow as biologists survey big game herds in Colorado, a video shows.

“WATCH for three bighorn sheep ... if you don’t miss them because Dome Rock State Wildlife Area in Teller County is so eye-catching,” Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Southeast Region said in a Tuesday, Feb. 14, tweet.

The forested, snowy, and rocky terrain conceals the running animals, but their horns give them away.

In the video, two sheep are seen fleeing on the left as the helicopter hovers over the area.

Then another sheep races through the snow and rocks on the right.

Biologists with the wildlife agency surveyed big game herds from helicopters in the early winter to observe moose, elk, bighorn sheep, and deer.

“They quickly assess the health and size of herds and fly off, minimizing any stress on the animals,” officials said in another tweet.

These surveys happen before areas get deep snow and the temperatures get colder.
