Spine-chilling X-rays of zoo animals stump — and scare — on Instagram. Check them out
A zoo in California is prepping for Halloween with some spooky Instagram X-rays of their critters, awing viewers.
“Those are skeletons I would hang up for Halloween,” one person said. “Well, if they were skeletons, of course.”
The San Diego Zoo posted three photos of critters that surprised some viewers.
“Another X-ray tech here and it absolutely looks like an infant! Amazing,” one person commented about the baby orangutan photo.
“Thanks for being transparent,” another commenter joked.
The photos have gotten nearly 30,000 likes and hundreds of comments from Instagram users.
“All of these x-rays were taken because our vets deemed them medically necessary to provide the best possible care for these animals,” the zoo said under the same photos shared on Facebook. “Hopefully we don’t get flagged for this x-ray-ted content.”
