This house has a massive rock in its living room — and TikTok loves it. Check it out
A home with a unique feature in its living room has gone viral thanks to TikTok.
The account HousesThatAreCool took aim at this two-bedroom, two-bathroom residence that’s on the real estate market in Evergreen, Colorado, for $250,000. It’s called “The Rock House” thanks to a massive rock in the living room.
“This home sits on a beautiful property with rock outcroppings, great views and lots of sunlight,” the listing on Realtor.com describes. “We call it the rock house because the living room integrates the giant rock outcropping inside the house! Once part of the Forest Heights Lodge Inc. housing — now can experience a renaissance with some deep improvements and or scrape.”
According to the listing, it’s been a while since anyone lived in the 1,529-square-foot property with the giant rock so whoever purchases the home will need to step up their repair game.
It should also be noted that there is no power, the water line has been shut off and there’s no sewer.
“Do you have the vision? Can you save it?” the listing asks.
Folks in the comment section on TikTok were heavily amused by the Centennial State digs and brought some admiration along with a hefty supply of jokes.
“Location: between a rock and a hard place,” one person said.
“Oh this must be Boulder, CO,” another remarked.
“Is this considered indoor climbing?” someone asked.
“I’m sorry but thinking about living there and having to dust the rock is cracking me up,” one person said.
“Okay but this house would be so cool if it was renovated with hardwood and plants and all kind of natural details,” another observed.
“As a rock climber this is a literal dream,” someone commented.
“Honestly that will help insulate and cool the house down,” one person remarked.
“This place rocks,” someone said.
