There are some houses that you would simply overlook when going for a stroll through a residential neighborhood, their average-looking exterior failing to steal attention despite holding some pretty nifty secrets.

Like this house on the real estate market in Burlington, Colorado for $298,000: Sure, it looks normal on the outside, but inside? It takes a walk on the wild side and appears to come from another time.

The 1970s to be exact.

“Amazingly unique, well preserved, retro home!” the listing on Zillow describes. “This is truly a one of a kind home! It is perfect for entertaining, with an enormous kitchen and living area, adjacent to a bowling alley and massive patio!”

The three-bedroom, three-bath, 4,175-square-foot home was built in 1949 and looks as if it was slapped in the face by the ghost of an interior decorator from 1972. From the burnt orange shag carpet, to the cabinets that appear to be holding grandma’s fine China, the house definitely has that “retro” feeling.

And, yes, that is a bowling alley in the home.

The craziness of the interior wasn’t lost on the popular social media page Zillow Gone Wild, as fans flocked to the comment section of the home’s post and let the snark fly.

“Finally, someone with the guts to use conflicting patterns as decor and I’ve always advocated for orange carpeting in the kitchen,” one fan said. “Yes!”

“It’s really a shame the historical society hasn’t demanded this piece of Americana be preserved for posterity,” another commented.

“Designer: Tell me something you really like for our inspiration.

Owner: well. I love Nighthawks frozen dinners and “The Big Lebowski,” someone joked.

“What in the ever loving bowling alley meets musty grandmother smell is going on here?!” another asked.

“I feel like I can smell these pictures,” one person said.

“That is the ugliest house I’ve ever seen, but I’d live in it just so I could bowl whenever I wanted to,” someone observed.

And finally...

“If a mullet were a house… Business on the outside, party in the inside.”
