These Triangle public high schools send the most students off to college
The News & Observer examined School Report Card data from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to learn more about which high schools in the Triangle send the most students to college.

Public schools in Wake County send most kids to college
These four public Triangle schools on this list had 95% of their 2021 graduating class enroll in college, the highest percentage of students across the Triangle, according to DPI’s data:
North Wake College and Career Academy. This is a high school in Wake Forest.
Vernon Malone College and Career Academy. This is a high school in Raleigh.
Wake Early College of Health and Science. This is a high school in Raleigh.
Chatham School of Science & Engineering. This is a high school in Siler City.
A fifth public high school in Wake County — Wake STEM Early College High School — had 94.4% of its 2021 graduating class enroll in college. That school is in Cary.
Two charter schools in the Triangle — Chatham Charter and Woods Charter, both in Chatham County — had over 90% of its 2021 graduating class enroll in college. Respectively, 95% and 92.9% enrolled.
