A Cary man is in critical condition after he was stabbed Wednesday evening during a dispute in a Walmart parking lot.

The victim, 43-year-old Fouad Elsenbary, was stabbed at least twice, Morrisville Police say. Tikira Norman, 38, of Durham, is suspected of stabbing Elsenbary following an argument over a parking spot. She is being held at the Wake County Detention Center.

Police responded to a 911 call around 6:30 p.m. at the Walmart on Shiloh Glenn Dr.

According to authorities, Elsenbary and Norman did not previously know each other.

“There is no further information at this time,” Town of Morrisville spokesperson Rox Cruz said in a statement Thursday.
