Raleigh police have arrested one man charged with killing a 17-year-old earlier this month.

Joshua Jenkins, 26, was arrested and taken to the Wake County jail, the Raleigh Police Department announced Sunday.

Last week the department charged Jenkins and Aaron Orlando Forrest, 46, with murder in the killing of Jameisha Person, who was shot June 2 just before 7 p.m. in the 5700 block of Goodstone Drive.

Person was taken to the hospital and police announced that she died the next morning.

James Edwards Evans Jr., 47, was arrested on a charge of felony accessory after the fact to murder.

Anyone who has information about Forrest is asked to call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at 919-834-HELP or visit RaleighCrimeStoppers.org for text and email reporting options. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
