Police have charged a second person in the fatal Dec. 15 shooting of Najay Peace.
Raiquan Jahmal Yancey, 22, of Durham was arrested during a traffic stop on Archdale Drive and charged with murder. Yancey was also wanted for failure to appear in court on two misdemeanor probation violations.
Ivy Gooch. 20, was arrested on Friday and charged with murder. He is being held at the Durham County jail without bond.
Officers responded to a call around 5:15 p.m. Dec. 15 on the 300 block of South Woodcrest Street. They found Peace outside on the ground with a gunshot wound. Peace was taken to a local hospital, where he died a short time later.

The shooting does not appear to have been random, according to investigators.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting.
