The holiday season got off to a bouncing start this week thanks to a couple of Hillsborough police officers.
Their actions on Thanksgiving Day were recorded on the department’s Facebook page.
While out on rounds, officers Blackwell and Wilson saw kids playing on a broken trampoline.

The torn fabric and sharp metal concerned Blackwell, who rallied her squad to find a way to get a new one.
A trip to Walmart and a new one was purchased by #HillsboroughRocks. After officers assembled it, the kids were back to playing on a brand new trampoline with all of the safety features.
It didn’t take long for people in Hillsborough to take notice, and numerous positive comments flooded the Hillsborough police Facebook page.
