Durham police looking for this car in hit-and run that hurt cyclist

Durham police are looking for a Toyota Corolla sedan in connection with a hit-and-run that injured a cyclist this week on Garrett Road.

Officers responded to the crash shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 5300 block of Garrett Road. Witnesses told police that a small dark sedan hit the bicyclist and sped away from the scene. The bicyclist – a 67-year-old Durham man – was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Durham police said Friday they are looking for a 2005-2008 Toyota Corolla sedan with driver’s side damage to the front hood and bumper.
