Avoid portion of Glenn School Road this morning.
The Patrol Unit of the Durham County Sheriff's Office has temporarily closed Glenn School Road from Glenn Road to Interstate 85 while repair crews replace a utility pole damaged during an early morning car accident.
Commuters are encouraged to find an alternate route until the repair is finished.
According to preliminary information, a male driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole on Glenn School Road in Durham around 1 a.m. Thursday. The driver was trying to avoid hitting a deer on the road. The driver was uninjured.
